2026 marks the 29 annual Silents in the Cathedral event. The feature film,
“The Student of Prague” (1926) is accompanied by Marvin Faulwell,
organ, and Bob Keckheisen, percussion. Event sponsored by the Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library.

Mateusz Rzewuski is one of the most active performing polish concert organists. He completed prestigious music universities in four countries: Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (Poland), the Musikhochschule in Lubeck (Germany), the Coonservatoire a Rayonnement Regional (France), and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Switzerland).

Lessons and Carols enjoys a privileged place in liturgical history, and Grace Cathedral is joining the ranks of great cathedrals and collegiate churches that present it. Replete with choir anthems, carols, organ works, and the Rockhill String Quartet, this celebration will usher in the spirit of the holidays. Reception following.

David Devine is a senior at the University of Iowa, where he studies under Dr. Gregory Hand. Prior to college, he studies under Dr. Max Yount.

Dr, Scott is assistant professor of trumpet at Washburn University, is a recipient of the International Trumpet guild's Young Artist Award, and is was named Kentucky Colonel by Governor of Kentucky Andy Beshear. Coleman is joined by pianist Kristi, Baker-Lampe.
